Islamic views on April Fools’ days, April Fools’ days on first April sees individuals across the globe denoting this day with tricks and jokes. Sadly, many defy Allah Almighty and His Final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم throughout their tricks by lying, taunting individuals, and deluding others, causing a lot of misery and unjustifiable issues for family members and companions. Periodically, the result of these tricks is deadly. Nothing can legitimize lying and offending of others as these are sins that lead to Hell. In the Quran, Allah Almighty has reviled liars, (Part 3, Surah Aal-e-Imraan, Verse 61) and illegal us from taunting others. (Section 26, Surah Al-Hujuraat, Verse 11)

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم further underlined the ban of lying and joke when he commented, ‘An individual won’t accomplish ideal confidence until he abstains from lying when kidding and contending regardless of whether he is honest,’ (Musnad-e-Ahmad, vol. 3, p. 290, Hadees 8774).

May Allah Almighty permit us to consistently talk reality and to avoid lying without bargain!
